Design

This project was designed to create an enhanced musical experience. We wanted to target three senses Touch, Sight, and Hearing. So as to provide a broader range of connection points between users and their music. You can learn more about the project at our YouTube channel here.

Cumulative-projecT, April 2019 - April 2020

This is my cumulative project for the Interactive Multimedia and Design program at Carleton University. My contribution to this project was as the Lead Programmer. This project was created using Android studio, and Arduino.

Design

This game was developed using the A-Frame library to create a web based VR experience. Players could chop down trees, gather wood and stone, to create a campfire, build a hammer, and construct a shelter.

Project-For University

A crafting survival web VR game. A-Frame

Team: Jonah Janakovic, Amanda McLeod, Jacob Tynski, Mathew Threader

Project-For University

Translate an audio experience into a visual experience using the codec pack OpenFrameworks.

Design

I tried focusing on the Isolating the bells and the piano as they appeared to be the main instruments in the song. The rotating circles is meant to be the speed of the song, increasing and decreasing during intense and calm sequences respectively.

Proof of functioning Arduino controller interfacing with a basic flight simulator built in unity. This project was created by Jonah Janakovic and Nick Liznick.

Project-for university

Design a controller for a flying simulator using an Arduino Uno.

Team: Jonah Janakovic, Nick Liznick

Design

We tried following some design standards of controllers today, move buttons on the left and look controls on the right. We had to place our height control at the front of the controller so we could still have room for the arduino in the bottom section.

Short display of a 3D environment running in a Firefox browser, with the ability to click on and delete elements from the scene. Uses Aframe and WebGL libraries.

Design

The project uses A-Frame and WebGL to create a 3D, VR capable environment. HTML and JavaScript to create the web page and allow networking between the two players.

Project-For University

This team project is designed to be able to run inside a browser and facilitate two players in either a competitive or collaborative game.

Team: Jonah Janakovic, Amanda McLeod

Design

The project was modeled using Blender and Programmed in Unity. We aimed to create a narrative driven experience that would tell the tale of Medusa from Greek mythology. As this was our first ever real project. The end product only delivered a walk able space.

Project-For University

1st Year game project called Orthodoxia. Pictured above are the 3D assets I created. You can find my writing contributions in the Written Work page.

Team: Jonah Janakovic, Tiffany Wiebe, Aly Byer, Nerly St.Fleur.
